Musician with 15 years of experience in the music industry as a writer, producer, and performer. My body of work includes four album releases, compositions for film and dance, and both local and international performances. I create impactful and forward-thinking music through the use of diverse production techniques, instrumental aptitude, and by blending genres in innovative ways. 

Described as “sensitive and vulnerable, yet dramatic and awe-inspiring” (Paste Magazine US), my work has been covered in Canadian and international publications, and has received airplay on CBC Radio 1, CBC Radio 3, Indie88, and abroad on BBC Radio 6. 

Canadian Film Centre’s Slaight Music Lab alum for 2021, under chairs Lesley Barber and Marc Jordan.



Competencies and Skills

Songwriting: abstracting keys, chords, and melodies from genre in order to reveal their innate emotionality and for the purpose of creating innovative compositions. 

Instrumental Aptitude: Singer. Skillfully able to play piano, guitar, and bass. Detailed knowledge of sound synthesis, gear based programming, MIDI programming, and acoustic theory. 

Music Production: expert skills across the following DAWs: Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton, and Reason. Extensive knowledge of mixing and mastering to produce clear and professional audio. 



Education

Canadian Film Center: Slaight Family Music Lab resident, 2021.

One year residency and course in film music composition, production and delivery.

Two intensive 8 week courses in notation and orchestration culminating in a composition of mine performed for a 13-piece orchestra.
